2008 the 26th In Hamamatsu

The 26th International Symposium on Space Technology and Science (26th ISTS) was held from June 2 through June 8, 2008, at Actcity Hamamatsu in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

Prof. Michikata Kono, the University of Tokyo was the General Chairman of the Organizing Committee. At the symposium, 852 participants including 129 from abroad registered and 642 papers were presented.

In this 26th symposium, the publication style was changed. Printed post conference proceedings are not issued. Instead, all preprints are released on this ISTS Web Paper Archives, along with papers from the Proceedings of 22nd to 25th ISTS. Furthermore, a special ISTS issue of JSASS (The Japan Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences) On-line Journal "Space Technology Japan" is going to be published.
