2006 the 25th In Kanazawa

The 25th International Symposium on Space Technology and Science (25th ISTS) was held from June 4 through June 11, 2006, at Kanazawa-shi Kanko Kaikan in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.

Prof. Yasunori Matogawa, Associate Executive Director of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency was the General Chairman of the Organizing Committee.
At the symposium, 823 participants including 164 from abroad registered, and 568 papers were presented.

In this 25th symposium, the publication style was further modified. The preprints CDs were distributed at the conference site instead of the post-conference CD, and printed post conference proceedings were issued.

These Proceedings are a collection of highly qualified papers and contain 286 papers selected by the Program Committee chaired by Dr. Yasushi Horikawa of JAXA, based on the valuable comments pointed out by chairpersons and reviewers.
